Accreditation Courses

accreditation-coursesMountain Monkeys has been helping schools, youth groups and other organisations, work with young people in order to gain various forms of accreditation such as GCSE’s, individual sport awards and first aid training. We have expert instructors and leaders who can come into your venue and work with your young people.

A small sample of the type of accredited courses that we offer include:

  • Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme – World renowned award scheme we provide all three levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold. From expeditions, physical elements, volunteering opportunities
  • GCSE PE and Geography – We can come into your school or take a group away for half a day to help cover elements of individuals GCSE such as Archery, Rock Climbing, Risk Assessing
  • BETEC – We have been tasked several times by colleges to provide adventurous activity days to fulfil the requirements of BETEC Public Service Courses and Sports Development courses.
  • John Muir Award – suitable from ages 7 years old and up wards, Mountain Monkeys can deliver a program over the period of 1 session to over a full term that is bespoke to each school or venue.
  • Young Navigators Award Scheme – 3 stage award, suitable for ages 8 years old and above which can all be delivered within a school grounds. The course can be delivered either as a single day or over several session as part of a PPA Cover course.
