Awesome! is the major word to describe this activity. Walking against the current, plunging into pools of water, jumping off water falls are all part and parcel of having a fantastic day out!
Ghyll Scrambling or otherwise known as Gorge Walking for the more gentle tamer experiences, can also be incorporated with another activity such as abseiling or archery as part of one of our Adventure Days. With our expert knowledge of many different gorges and streams systems to use, we have developed a break down of different experiences, ranging from fun relaxing and easy days out to full on physically challenging and well satisfying trip.
We have a selection of gentle venues to choose from, that can offer a good insight into the demands of fighting against the water. Getting your feet wet and maybe a bit more is all part is the make up of this day out. This activity is adrenalin pumping right from the start jumping off from height into plunge pools of water, sliding down cascading water falls and simply getting soaked!!
We provide fun ghyll scrambling sessions for individuals and groups, at a range of locations across the Northwest including Manchester Chester, Liverpool as well as The Lake District and Snowdonia. Ghyll Scrambling can also be combined with any of our other activities to make a memorable experience, please check out our Adventure Days for suggestions.
We offer a number of Taster Open Sessions Throughout the year as well as more interesting and full on experinces for people who have taken part in ghyll scrambling before, offering truly awesome cannoyoneering experiences in the Lake District, Snowdonia and Scotland.
