Bushcraft Workshops and Forest School

bushcraft-overview-pageMountain Monkeys has been running Bushcraft Workshops and Survival School days for over several years.

As well as at our centre, we can put on selection of days at either one of our woodland venues, or at a suitable venue of your choosing such as school or community grounds, campsite etc

We offer basic and fun introductory experiences, as well  more advance skills and techniques such as survival skills, forgaging, outdoor cooking and overnight experinces. We try to cover the following during your session with us, which can be adapted depending on group, location and weather:

  • Fire Lighting
  • Cooking On Open Fires
  • Kelly Kettles - Hot Drinks
  • Shelter Building
  • Basic Health and Safety
  • Natural Artwork
  • Bug Hunting
  • Camouflage Training

Bushcraft Parties

Would you like a birthday party with a difference? Then why not have a Mountain Monkeys Bushcraft Birthday Party? A fantastic day filled with fun, activities as described above with some surprises along the way!

Bushcraft Taster Sessions

We provide simple taster sessions for individuals and groups, at a range of locations across the Northwest including Manchester Chester, Liverpool as well as The Lake District and Snowdonia. Bushcraft can also be combined with any of our other activities to make a memorable experience, please check out our Adventure Days for suggestions
