This is undoubtedly one of the most classic walks in the UK, tackling the Yorkshire Dales highest peaks; Pen-y- gent, Wernside and Ingleborough. The walk is approximately 24 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m.Starting at picturesque village Horton in Ribblesdale, we lead groups on a superb circular walk of the hills. Over the course of the day whilst scaling the 3 mountains you will also see the stunning Ribblehead Viaduct, limestone pavements and beautiful countryside.
We aim to help and support people to complete the challenge within the traditional 12 hours, time limit. We can also help provide longer days, or also offer alternative start points along the route. If that’s what you’d like then our instrutors will be with you all the way, with their expert, local knowledge as well as showing you the way and setting the pace needed to complete the route.
We offer two opportunities to take part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks; Open Events when you join other challengers on pre-set dates, or Personalised Events where you can choose a date of your own, with options of your own guide and optional support vehicle. (Please note this is a single day only challenge, but we can recommend a list of accommodation in the area should you wish to stay longer)

We work on a ratio of 1:10 and can provide an assistant if required.
Guide and support vehicle: £575.00
Additional Guides and assistants are costed at above rate.
This is our most popular option, and again we will meet you at Horton, and guide you around the route as above. In addition we will have a support vehicle which will be available at all times to pick up any individuals who wish to retire from the challenge. The vehicle will also meet you at two points along the way to provide hot drinks and snacks provided by Mountain Monkeys, as well as allowing you to change into dry socks / tops etc at this point. This is an excellent option for groups and charities who are looking to taking part in a fundraising challenge.
